Web 2.0 and my blogging experience
It is day 3 of learning all about Web 2.0 and blogging. I did not know what blogging was -----it was fabulous. I watched the 2nd video on how blogging gets you connected to the world. I learned that I am an agent to help this area grow and develop. I visited some of the blogs that were provided to us. I found one site interesting----it was about not giving homework. It was fascinating. Another topic was "digital native." I had never heard of such a word---- I presented this terminology to my class and made them guess what it meant. It was fun to see their interpretation and we had a very interesting discussion about how words and concepts grow as our world changes and develops.

You might want to add some hyperlinks to your blog so that people can click and link to the articles and topics you are linking to (like the site about not giving homework). There is a description and video about how to do that on Thing 3 or you can come visit me and I can show you! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm excited by you bringing your "23 Things" learning into the classroom so early. I hope you explained to your students what you were up to with this project. Modeling that we are life long learners is a great lesson for them.
